LOW SELF ESTEEM

I'm three years old and this doesn't make sense:

Mommy and Daddy are the greatest people in the world

They love me more than life itself

And they do things that hurt me

Wow, I am really having a hard time with this:

Mommy and Daddy are the greatest people in the world

They love me more than life itself

And they do things that hurt me

I told Daddy to quit being mean to my Mommy, today.

I won't make that mistake, again. Let's see:

Mommy and Daddy are the greatest people in the world

They love me more than life itself

And they do things that hurt me

This is crazy:

Mommy and Daddy are the greatest people in the world

Oh, now I get it:

Mommy and Daddy are the greatest people in the world

They love me more than life itself

And they do things that hurt me

BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH ME

AND I DESERVE TO BE TREATED THIS WAY!

(This conclusion that saves my life as a child,

makes sense of it all,

eats me like a cancer as an adult.)
